In a tiny Kansas town where the Little Miss Moonshine pageant is taken very seriously, longtime rivals Etta Lou Hatfield and Lula May McCoy are locked in a fierce battle for a historic tenth crown. Their obsession pulls in family members, sparks outrageous schemes, and turns rehearsals into full-blown showdowns. But when the pageant’s rules, and secrets, are flipped upside down, an unexpected contestant takes center stage.

Celebrate National Pi (π) Day and craft a bracelet to help you remember this irrational number. (It continues infinitely without repeating.) For ages 10-18.

For its March 14 Art Together Program, Mark Arts is taking inspiration from springtime, when nature is bursting with creativity, critters and cool rhythms. This Saturday morning program, from 10 a.m.-noon, is perfect for curious kids who love animals, art and music. Activities include a reading of “The Prairie That Nature Built” by a Great Plains Nature Center naturalist and an animal visit, hands-on artmaking using nature’s materials (sticks, flowers and more) to make mandalas, and a performance by the ICT Youth Drumline. It’s free to attend. RSVPs encouraged.

We’re back for 2026! Join us Saturday, March 14, for the Delano Paddy Day Parade! The Parade starts at noon, and will include a food truck rally, kids corner, and street party.

Sister Circle Brunch: Women’s History Celebration, taking place on March 14, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Aloft Hotel. This year’s theme, “Unapologetically HERstory: Voices, Vision, Victory,” embodies our commitment to creating powerful, intentional spaces where women are empowered to lead boldly, connect authentically, and thrive unapologetically. Join us for fun, shopping, networking, music by DJ Detroit, and a fantastic brunch provided by Pryme Luxe events.

The Sister Circle Brunch addresses critical issues affecting women of color by creating a safe space for dialogue, fostering meaningful business and community connections, and promoting sisterhood across personal and professional spheres. While progress has been made in women’s leadership representation, significant gaps remain.
