How It Works
Collect your bingo card from Watermark Books & Café or Love of Character. In-store or online.
Get reading and be sure to mark off the corresponding squares on your bingo card.
Once you’ve hit bingo (5 boxes in a horizontal. Vertical. Or diagonal line.) Bring your card into the store and exchange it for a completion prize!
Your completed card will then be entered into a drawing for a grand prize!
Extra Credit: Feel like earning a few more entries? A full card (All 25 squares filled in) will be entered into the grand prize drawing 5 times!

All completed children's cards will receive a prize for turning in the card, and will be entered into the Grand Prize drawing!

Each age bracket will have a Grand Prize winner, which is a tote with a gift card to Love of Character and to Watermark Books & Cafe, with additional goodies!

Participants are encouraged to enter as many bingo cards as they wish. However, completion prizes will only be awarded upon the first entry. Completion prizes may vary, and certain items will only be available while supplies last.

All entries must be returned to Watermark Books & Café or Love of Character by 3 pm on August 31st, to be eligible for the grand prize drawing. No purchase is necessary to participate. If you have any questions, please email us at books@watermarkbooks.com

Captain ICT says welcome to Wichita’s premiere home for all things science fiction, comics, literature, movies and horror films as ICT Comic Con and Science Fiction Expo Year comes back for its 10.0 event! This event has been locally owned and operated for 10 years with a focus on both local and national celebrity talent. Stay tuned true believers as they continue to announce their ever-growing list of movie celebrities, artists, writers, creators and much, much more. Join them in Convention & Exhibition Hall for this epic celebration of comics, science fiction, movies, and horror right here in the mighty ICT!

Join us for an anniversary screening of "Howling II: Your Sister is a Werewolf" on Saturday, August 29 at 6:30 in Mary Jane Teall Theater. Patrons must have a ticket to the movie screening to attend, but patrons with an ICT Comic Con ticket can buy a movie screening ticket at a discount at the box office. This screening will feature 2 of the movie's stars, Sybil Danning and Reb Brown

Art is not only for Art Museums. If a picture is worth a thousand words, it stands to reason that art can tell us a lot about the times and place where it was produced. Local history museums exist to explore time and place.

Featuring works from C.A. Seward, John Noble, Edmund Davison, Birger Sandzen, Bruce McGrew, and more!

On view on the Historical Museum's 3rd Floor, throughout 2026 as part of the ongoing Lois Kay Walls visual art exhibition series produced by the Wichita-Sedgwick County Historical Museum.

Since 2022, we have received a generous gift from the Ruth Spooner Stone Charitable Trust, INTRUST Bank to make this possible. Visit us in Downtown Wichita and EXPLORE LOCAL HISTORY in one of America’s finest museums, occupying the original City of Wichita's 1890 City Hall.

Come experience dozens of exhibits featuring thousands of artifacts illuminating our unique local history.

Orpheum Theatre Grand Reopening

Derby Arts Council: Veteran Art Show at the Derby Public Library

The exhibit is set to run Aug. 31 through Oct. 22 and will collect works from veteran artists across all mediums (fiber arts, photography, painting, metalwork, etc.) to be shown in the Gathering Space Gallery and display case at the library entrance.

As part of the exhibit, there will be awards up for grabs, with Aug. 4 the deadline to submit entries. There will also be a public reception — and awards presentation — for the exhibit on Sept. 18.

Join us for a discussion! Books to be discussed are: September: "The Dutch House" by Ann Patchett, October: "The Professor and the Madman" by Simon Winchester, November: "Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail" by Cheryl Strayed, December: This month's meeting will not include a book discussion. The book selected for discussion, will be available to check out at the Evergreen Branch Library one month before the program.

Like jigsaw puzzles? Completed the ones you have at home? Bring a puzzle, take a puzzle the first Tuesday of every month. Request that puzzles be complete and in good physical condition.

Twilight Tunes on the Terrace is the perfect way to unwind under the tree canopy and enjoy fantastic live music against the backdrop of a beautiful fall evening.
