We are a group of individuals practicing cultivation of the mind. All ages and people are welcome. Each week we have a thirty minute guided meditation followed by discussion. Our topics include meditation practice and living a life of compassion and contemplation. You do not need to have any experience to join and you will be welcomed by a very loving group of individuals. This is not a religious gathering. Join us for a special event to view USD259 K-12 students’ artwork on display at the Wichita Art Museum! Exhibition on Display: September 19 – November 29, 2026

Submission to the USD259 Student Art Gallery is coordinated by Wichita Public Schools. Entries are selected by participating teachers, and individual students should contact their teacher for participation details.

Children ages 2 and under will develop a love of learning as they sing, dance, and enjoy simple stories. Caregivers will learn tips to encourage their child's early learning development. Please note this program will not take place on 11/27 at the Advanced Learning Library.

Art is not only for Art Museums. If a picture is worth a thousand words, it stands to reason that art can tell us a lot about the times and place where it was produced. Local history museums exist to explore time and place.

Drop in at WAM for live music by David Lord and informal artmaking inspired by WAM’s permanent collection. We invite you to meet up with a friend, bring a loved one, or join us on your own! WAM museum teacher Addison Pagels will guide you in creating a watercolor oil pastel resist echoing Grace Hartigan’s signature style. Supplies are provided, and the program is free and open to the public.

Want to experience winemaking from the very beginning? Join us for one of our favorite traditions of the year—Harvest Season!

Every Saturday morning in August and September, we invite you to help hand-pick the grapes that will become future Grace Hill wines. Our entire harvest is picked by volunteers, making this one of the most unique winery experiences you'll find anywhere!

🍇 Here's what your morning looks like:
🍇 8:00 AM – Meet in the vineyard and help harvest grapes (about 2 hours)

🍷 Behind-the-scenes winery tour – Follow the grapes into the winery and see how they begin their journey from vineyard to bottle.

🍽 Buffet lunch – Relax after harvest with a delicious lunch, plenty of Grace Hill wine for guests 21+, and fresh grape juice for the kids.
