Want to experience winemaking from the very beginning? Join us for one of our favorite traditions of the year—Harvest Season!

Every Saturday morning in August and September, we invite you to help hand-pick the grapes that will become future Grace Hill wines. Our entire harvest is picked by volunteers, making this one of the most unique winery experiences you'll find anywhere!

🍇 Here's what your morning looks like:
🍇 8:00 AM – Meet in the vineyard and help harvest grapes (about 2 hours)

🍷 Behind-the-scenes winery tour – Follow the grapes into the winery and see how they begin their journey from vineyard to bottle.

🍽 Buffet lunch – Relax after harvest with a delicious lunch, plenty of Grace Hill wine for guests 21+, and fresh grape juice for the kids.

🛍 20% OFF all winery purchases that day for everyone who helps harvest!

Start your weekends with movement, mindfulness and fresh air at Riverside Yoga at 9 am and Riverside Zumba at 10 am!

Every Saturday morning (May 9 – September 19), join us for a free community yoga and/or Zumba session along the scenic Arkansas River in the Wichita Foundation Amphitheater. Whether you’re well-experienced or new to the practice, this is your chance to flow and move under the open sky and connect with others in a beautiful outdoor setting overlooking the Keeper of the Plains.

Open to all ages and experience levels.

Join Suzanne Perez and the WPL Book Bus at Central Riverside Park (near the wildlife exhibit) for an all-ages read-in-public event @ Central Riverside Park! Bring a book to read or grab one of ours!

A new community tradition is brewing in Wichita. On Saturday, September 12, Planted Tea Shop will host the inaugural Tea Fest at Naftzger Park from 11 a.m.–3 p.m., bringing together tea, herbs, art, wellness and community for a free, interactive experience unlike anything else in the city.

Following the success of this summer's Spill The Tea gathering, Tea Fest expands the vision into a larger celebration where visitors can discover handcrafted teas, meet herbal and wellness vendors, grab lunch from a food truck, watch live demonstrations, explore & create botanical art, participate in a community art installation and connect with local creatives.

Designed to be immersive rather than simply a shopping event, Tea Fest encourages attendees to sip, learn, create and engage with the people and stories behind Wichita's growing tea and wellness community.
Tea Fest is free and open to the public.

Art is not only for Art Museums. If a picture is worth a thousand words, it stands to reason that art can tell us a lot about the times and place where it was produced. Local history museums exist to explore time and place.

On view on the Historical Museum's 3rd Floor, throughout 2026 as part of the ongoing Lois Kay Walls visual art exhibition series produced by the Wichita-Sedgwick County Historical Museum.

Since 2022, we have received a generous gift from the Ruth Spooner Stone Charitable Trust, INTRUST Bank to make this possible. Visit us in Downtown Wichita and EXPLORE LOCAL HISTORY in one of America’s finest museums, occupying the original City of Wichita's 1890 City Hall.

Come experience dozens of exhibits featuring thousands of artifacts illuminating our unique local history.

Children ages 0-6 will develop literacy skills through active listening, singing, movement, and sharing a love of stories in a group setting. Please note this program will not take place on 10/12 at the Alford location.

Wichita State University Professor Emeritus Dr. Barbara Smith will give a talk about sleep health, including how it works, its health impacts, and tips on building healthy sleep habits.

Children ages 3-6 will develop literacy skills through active listening, singing, movement, and sharing a love of stories in a group setting. Please note this program will not take place on 11/11 at the Westlink location.

Children ages 2 and under will develop a love of learning as they sing, dance, and enjoy simple stories. Caregivers will learn tips to encourage their child's early learning development. Please note this program will not take place on 11/27 at the Advanced Learning Library.
