Submission to the USD259 Student Art Gallery is coordinated by Wichita Public Schools. Entries are selected by participating teachers, and individual students should contact their teacher for participation details.

Children ages 0-6 will develop literacy skills through active listening, singing, movement, and sharing a love of stories in a group setting. Please note this program will not take place on 10/12 at the Alford location.

Parents/caregivers with children 12-36 months old will enjoy a weekly play session attended by community resource specialists to answer your questions about child development. Learn how to use Onshape, a 3D CAD (computer-aided design) program. This is a 3-part class that will teach you how to create shapes on a 2D plane, constrain them and use them to make 3D parts. Call (316) 261-8500 or visit wichitalibrary.org/events to register.

Drop in on the first Monday of each month from 6:00 to 7:00 PM for a fun craft you can make and take home! For preschoolers and a parent or caregiver. For ages 3-6.

Children ages 2 and under will develop a love of learning as they sing, dance, and enjoy simple stories. Caregivers will learn tips to encourage their child's early learning development. Please note this program will not take place on 11/27 at the Advanced Learning Library.
