Knitters and crocheters, join us and share projects, see demos, and explore craft books. Bring your own projects or use our supplies. All ages and skill levels can create and connect!

We are a group of individuals practicing cultivation of the mind. All ages and people are welcome. Each week we have a thirty minute guided meditation followed by discussion. Our topics include meditation practice and living a life of compassion and contemplation. You do not need to have any experience to join and you will be welcomed by a very loving group of individuals. This is not a religious gathering. Please join us if you could use an hour of deep relaxation!

Join the Newton Mid-Kansas Symphony Orchestra in their 70th season!

The Spring Classics concert - Awake to Joy, will be presented on April 11, 2027 at 4 p.m. in Bethel College's Memorial Hall. This concert will feature Strauss' Also Sprach Zarathustra-Sunrise, Mahler's Symphony No.4, Coplands Billy The Kid Suite and will include BCAPA & Azteca Dancers as well as artwork by renowned artist Phil Epp.

MakeICT is Wichita's oldest community driven Maker Space. Maker Monday is our open house event, and a great way to experience the makerspace and the maker culture in person. Come tour our shops and see our brand new facility at 5920 E. Mt. Vernon. You’ll learn all about our makerspace, tools, policies, people, and how we operate.

Our tours are free and open to the public. While you are welcome to just show up, we prefer that you register in advance so we have enough members on hand to assist with our tours. Sessions are at 7 pm and 7:30 pm.

If you wish to begin your membership at Maker Monday we will have members here to sign you up. There’s always something interesting going on at Maker Monday!
