Art is not only for Art Museums. If a picture is worth a thousand words, it stands to reason that art can tell us a lot about the times and place where it was produced. Local history museums exist to explore time and place.

New in 2026 is the Derby Market at Third Thursday. The Derby Market will focus on vendors selling local produce, meat and dairy, baked goods, honey, salsa, homemade spices/mixes/sauces, etc., and homemade artisan crafts.

Third Thursday will include food, drinks, entertainment and live music, artists, booths, kid’s activities, and more.

The stand-alone Market will also include First Man Brewery, Shawarmas UR's and Taters N Toppings.

Think books are just for reading? Think again! Participants will repurpose an old book into festive, fall decor perfect for decorating a shelf or table.

We are a group of individuals practicing cultivation of the mind. All ages and people are welcome. Each week we have a thirty minute guided meditation followed by discussion. Our topics include meditation practice and living a life of compassion and contemplation. You do not need to have any experience to join and you will be welcomed by a very loving group of individuals. This is not a religious gathering. Please join us if you could use an hour of deep relaxation!

The greatest thing you’ll ever learn is just to love, and be loved in return.

Set in 1899, this musical drama features Ewan McGregor as a young poet who defies his father by moving to “the absinthe-soaked, amoral, bohemian” neighbourhood of Montmatre. It is here that he meets the diminutive artist Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec (John Leguizamo) and is drafted to write a nightclub spectacular. In this seedy world of sex and drugs, he begins a passionate but ultimately doomed love affair with the most famous courtesan (Nicole Kidman) in Paris.
