Reema Khrais joined WUNC in 2013 to cover education in pre-kindergarten through high school. Previously, she won the prestigious Joan B. Kroc Fellowship. For the fellowship, she spent a year at NPR where she reported nationally, produced on Weekends on All Things Considered and edited on the digital desk. She also spent some time at New York Public Radio as an education reporter, covering the overhaul of vocational schools, the contentious closures of city schools and age-old high school rivalries.

His stories have aired on a variety of stations and shows including Morning Edition, Marketplace, KCUR, KPR, IPR, NET, WFIU. He won regional Edward R Murrow Awards in 2013 for Writing, Hard News and was part of the reporting team that won for Continuing Coverage. In 2010 he received the national Debakey Journalism Award and in 2009 he won a Missouri Press Association award for Best News Feature.

Katie Lanning is an associate professor of English at Wichita State University. She holds a Ph.D. in English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and her areas of interest in research and teaching are eighteenth- and nineteenth-century British literature, the history of the book, text technologies and media history, and the history of crime and detective fiction.

Fran Connor is an Associate Professor and Chair of the English Department at Wichita State University. He holds a Ph.D. In English from the University of Virginia, and his areas of interest in research and teaching include early modern English literature, the history of the book and of literary publishing, textual editing, and punk, postpunk, industrial, and alternative music from Kansas.

Rebeccah Bechtold is an Associate Professor of English at Wichita State University. She holds a Ph.D. in English from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, and her areas of interest in research and teaching include eighteenth- and nineteenth-century American literature and culture, soundscape studies, sentimental literature, and women's studies.

Kerry Jones is a teaching professor in the English Department at Wichita State University. She is also the university's Writing Center Director. She holds an MFA in fiction writing from Wichita State University. She teaches courses in composition and literature, one of the more popular courses being Literature of the Jazz Age.
