Danish quintet Lowly released its fourth album, Softy, on October 30 via Bella union. Vocalist Soffie Viemose and drummer Steffen Lundtoft recently spoke with me about the band’s decision to produce the album themselves, recording outside a traditional studio space, what it’s like having Brian Eno as a fan of the band, and the friendships and family that have grown up around Lowly.
