Marginalia: Brock Clarke

My guest this episode is a voice you've probably heard before, especially if you've been listening to Marginalia for a while. Brock Clarke just released his 8th work of fiction, Who Are You, Calvin Bledsoe?, and he visited with me about it the day before publication.

In the book, the title character is approaching middle-age, has a job as a blogger in the pellet stove industry, and until her death, was very much living under his John Calvin-loving-mother's thumb. Enter an aunt he didn't know he had and a whirlwind trip across the pond, and you're left with a smart, funny, and poignant story.
