Primary Election 2019: Unofficial Final Results

Early results in the primary election for Wichita mayor and the Wichita school board's at-large seat were released at 7:11 p.m., shortly after polls closed.

At 8:39 p.m., with 22,640 ballots cast (6,803 by mail or early voting), the Sedgwick County Election Office posted the following results:

Wichita Mayor

  • Jeff Longwell | 7,136 votes (32.3%)
  • Brandon Whipple | 5,729 votes (25.9%)
  • Lyndy Wells | 5,569 votes (25.2%)
  • Amy Lyon | 1,412 votes (6.4%)
  • Mark S. Gietzen | 1,309 votes (5.9%)
  • Brock E. Booker | 435 votes (2.0%)
  • Ian M. Demory | 231 votes (1.0%)
  • Joshua M. Atkinson | 152 votes (0.7%)
  • Marty Mork | 135 votes (0.6%)

School Board Member At-Large - USD 259

  • Joseph W. Shepard |5,173 votes (32.7%)
  • Sheril Logan |4,733 votes (29.9%)
