Smitti Supab and Alex Mallet are founding members of the New Orleans-based musical multi-hyphenate Captain Buckles. The group released its debut album, Hurry Up, in late 2025. Supab and Mallet spoke about the band’s formation, the three days they spent recording Hurry Up, and their unique musical rapport.
