As the western Kansas reporter for High Plains Public Radio and the Kansas News Service, I travel around the region immersing myself into their lifestyles to highlight these rural Kansans. From the water crisis and drought, to agriculture or even immigration, my job is to cover these shifts in climate, policy and access across the region and inform western Kansans about how they are also impacted.
