State lawmakers from south-central Kansas are expected to take part in a public forum on Wednesday at the Sedgwick County Courthouse in downtown Wichita.
The forum comes less than a week before the start of the 2018 legislative session.
It’s an opportunity for community members to ask questions, voice concerns and request action from their local lawmakers.
The forum will take place in the first floor jury room from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Doors open at 6 p.m.
The Kansas Legislature begins the new session on Monday, Jan. 8, in Topeka.
