Wichita Police Investigating String Of Armed Robberies

Wichita Police Department
If you have any information on these men, please call Crime Stoppers at 316 267-2111.

The Wichita Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying suspects involved in several weekend armed robberies.

The incidents took place at a gas station, a convenience store and a fast food restaurant in southeast Wichita.

Police spokesman Charley Davidson says if you see something, say something.

"The one thing is to make sure that you report things that occur," Davidson says. "Be a good witness. Try to get as much information as you can, if possible, if an incident like this occurs so that we can investigate it fully."

Davidson says they’re looking into the details of the armed robberies and an attempted armed robbery to see if there’s a crime trend.

Police shared pictures from some of the crime scenes on social media in an effort to get new leads in the cases.

Davidson says the incidents happened at a Valero gas station on South Meridien, a Quik Trip gas/convenience store on East Lincoln and a Burger King restaurant on East Harry Avenue on Saturday and Sunday.

He says off-duty officers are often employed as security at convenience stores around Wichita.
