COVID-19 Vaccine | KMUW's Democracy On Tap

On February 23, 2021, KMUW convened a digital community conversation on the COVID-19 vaccine in Kansas. We discuss Kansas’ rollout plan, who should get vaccinated, and answer viewers' vaccine-related questions. Our panelists are:

  • Adrienne Byrne, Sedgwick County Health Director
  • Sarah Lopez, Sedgwick County Commissioner
  • Kavya Natesan, Alliance for Multidisciplinary Research
  • Dr. Chloe Steinshouer, Pulmonologist

Here's the recorded conversation:

-8

Correction: At 6 minutes and 50 seconds into the recorded conversation, an interview quote from 1A was incorrectly attributed. The person speaking is Angela Rasmussen, not Dr. Wen.

Our partners at the Wichita Public Library have provided a list of further reading and resources on the COVID-19 vaccine. Click here.
