Shrek, Jekyll And Hyde On Wichita Stages This Weekend

The Wichita State University School of Performing Arts presents Chemical Imbalance: A Jekyll and Hyde Play, a farcical adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Chemical Imbalance: A Jekyll and Hyde Play is a fast-paced romp about men and women tightrope walking the line between aristocracy and depravity, and between the twin specters of good and evil.

Chemical Imbalance: A Jekyll & Hyde Play runs from May 1-4 with a Sunday matinee.

Wichita Community Theatre’s present production of Sabrina Fair closes on May 4 as does the Forum Theatre’s present production of Man of La Mancha.

Mosley Street Melodrama will present its uncensored performance of Reno County 911 on May 3 with an 11:15 p.m. showing. No one under18 will be admitted to the show. Regular performances of Reno County 911 continue through May 24. Beginning on May 29th it’s Tom Frye’s Jaws: The Melodrama.

The Mary Jean Teall Theater at Century II will host the regional debut of Shrek: The Musical on May 3 and 4. This show will also be at the Crown Uptown from June 6 to the 28. The theater is dark until then but will return with a full summer schedule.
