Construction work on 37th street north that had previously been postponed has beenrescheduled to start on Friday.
37th Street North between Broadway and Hydraulic will be closed.
Thru traffic will detour to 29th Street at Broadway and Hydraulic streets. Local traffic will be allowed to Ohio Street.
The $5.2 million dollar project will widen 37th Street to a three-lane roadway. Construction is also providing area storm drain improvements.
The project, which began in February, has a target completion date of spring 2015.
