Harlem Globetrotters Select Nick Wiggins In 2014 Player Draft

Nick Wiggins, a 6’ 6” guard who helped lead Wichita State basketball to the two greatest seasons in the school’s history has been chosen as a draftee for the Harlem Globetrotters.

With Wiggins on the court, the Shockers registered back-to-back 30-win campaigns and one Final Four appearance. His brother, Mitchell Wiggins Jr. was also drafted. Mitchell, a 6’ 6” forward played for Southeastern University in Florida.

The Wiggins brothers are from Vaughan, Ontario. Their younger brother Andrew is a likely top-three 2014 NBA Draft pick. He played for KU last year.

Throughout their history, the Original Harlem Globetrotters have showcased their talents in 122 countries and territories on six continents. 2012 Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel was also drafted as was soccer star Landon Donovan.
