The Greater Wichita Ministerial League will focus on unity at its annual Martin Luther King Jr. celebration, where nationally recognized pastor and Grammy award-winning singer Marvin Winans will be the keynote speaker.
Winans is the founder of a more than 2,000-member church and a school in Detroit.

Ministerial League president Rev. Roosevelt DeShazer says Winans will lift up this year's theme: #Unity.
DeShazer says there must be a coming together of all people.
"Because in our country right now there is so much division and so much anger and hatred that's going on, we have to unify ourselves," he says.
Community leaders will also be honored, and part of a freewill offering will help high schoolers attend college.
The MLK event will be held at the WSU Metropolitan Complex on Monday, Jan. 21, at noon.
