Out of the 900 arrests, U.S. Marshal Rod Miller said more than 500 led to felony charges.

"These are individuals that were priority cases ... individuals who were wanted and then the resources came together to be able to find these people," Miller said.

Authorities said they also seized 80 guns, more than $140,000 in cash and $800,000 in illegal narcotics.

Ten law enforcement agencies took part in the operation, including the Wichita Police Department, the Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office and the Kansas Highway Patrol.

The operation was funded with grants from the federal government.
