The band Men At Work was one of the most popular bands of the MTV era. Formed in Melbourne, Australia in 1979, the group's success was short-lived and they broke up by 1986.
Today, vocalist and songwriter Colin Hay has a new version of the band that he's taking on the road. He says that some of the group's continued success comes down to its musical sophistication and sense of humor in the face of dire circumstances. He says that he also attributes that latter quality as being influenced by his Scottish heritage.
