KMUW Literary Feast

Literary Feast is KMUW's monthly book club, featuring selections made by KMUW staff.

For October we're reading Hamnet by Maggie O'Farrell.

"When William Shakespeare sat down to write "Hamlet," his only son Hamnet was some 4 years dead. Hamnet Shakespeare only lived to the age of 11. His death was recorded. The cause was not. In her new novel, Maggie O'Farrell sets out to imagine who he was, how he died, and in doing so, imagine the interior life and family life of the father, William Shakespeare." - Mary Louise Kelly, NPR

Join us for Digital Literary Feast at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21. Registration is free and open to all, but a donation in support of KMUW events is greatly appreciated.
