Emergency management officials in south-central Kansas say there are no reports of damage from a series of small earthquakes that shook Sumner County Monday.

The U.S. Geological Survey says two of the quakes were centered southeast of Conway Springs. A magnitude 3.9 earthquake struck just before 8:00 this morning, followed at 10:23 by another with a magnitude of 3.1.

People in Wellington also felt a quake with a 4.1 magnitude that was recorded just after 11 a.m. near Medford, Oklahoma, which is about 40 miles away.
