Wichita Storyteller Remembers Yolanda King's "Daddy" On Anniversary Of Birthday

Many know Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. as a civil rights leader, minister, Nobel Peace Prize winner and great orator. But his eldest daughter, Yolanda, knew him as "Daddy."

Yolanda King wrote about her childhood, and today, on the anniversary of Dr. King’s birthday, Wichita storyteller Tasleem Muqtasid shares this remembrance, an excerpt of the story “Daddy” by Yolanda King.
