Tulipfest is Botanica’s biggest, boldest spring celebration—a month-long burst of blooms and beauty. Thousands of tulips paint the Gardens in every shade imaginable, pathways sparkle with seasonal magic, and every turn invites you to stop, smile, and snap a photo. This is spring at its absolute best.

Katherine Ambrose
Katherine Ambrose is the co-host of the nationally syndicated daily talk show Aging Untold bringing real, genuine conversations about aging, independence, and caregiving into homes across the country. She is also the founder of the Empowered Senior seminar series, which she launched at Botanica Wichita in 2019. The program grew into the PBS Kansas television series Empowering Seniors, now in its sixth season with over 100 episodes aired statewide, and the 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization Empowering Seniors Inc.

A nationally recognized senior move specialist and media host, Katherine helps people navigate life transitions. She specializes in downsizing, relocation, and aging-in-place decisions.

Kate Mast
Kate Mast is a Clean-Out Coach located in Wichita, KS. Through her business, Soft Spaces, Kate helps people clean out stressful, emotionally charged spaces in their homes with energetic, collaborative, hands-on support.
Drawing from her background in nursing and sociology, she is passionate about encouraging “intentional stuff management” across all life stages and helping people reflect on the tender work of sorting through our stuff and stories.

Tammey Stubbs
Tammey Stubbs, proprietor of Stubbs Estates, returned to her Midwest roots in 2010, coming back to Wichita from her nearly 30-year career in New York City. After graduating from the University of Kansas in Fine Arts and Education, she headed to NYC to pursue a graduate degree in Design – a Master of Science in Communication Design at the famed Pratt Institute, to be exact.
After several positions as Art Director with various design firms, she formed her own – Art at Large Inc. – specializing in retail design. She and her husband also opened a fine arts gallery in Hell’s Kitchen by the same name.
She is a “Certified Appraiser” and estate sales are her passion.Stubbe Estates serves Wichita and the surrounding areas for estate sales and welcomes consignment and appraisal opportunities throughout the USA. It is one of the top 10 most-viewed estate sales in the state of Kansas.

Week 1 - Introduction to Self-Measured Blood Pressure In this session participants will learn how to accurately and consistently measure their blood pressure and understand why regular monitoring is important for their overall health.*
Week 2 - Sleep and Stress Management In this session participants will learn about proper sleep hygiene and stress management strategies to support better blood pressure control.*
Week 3 - Shake Off Excess Sodium In this session participants will learn strategies to reduce sodium intake and understand the importance of sodium reduction for effective blood pressure control.*
Week 4 - Physical Activity In this session participants will learn practical ways to increase physical activity and understand how regular movement positively affects blood pressure.*

Drawing from her book "Remember the First Ladies: The Legacies of America’s History-Making Women," Diana Carlin discusses the evolving role of the first lady and its historic importance to the American presidency. Carlin shines a light on the influential women who broke barriers and made a mark on the nation, examining both the development of the role and the legacies first ladies have left behind. She explores how first ladies have influenced American society, public policy, political campaigns, major speeches, diplomacy, and daily life within the White House, from Martha Washington through Dr. Jill Biden.

Carlin is a retired professor of Communication Studies at the University of Kansas and former dean of KU’s Graduate School and International Programs. She is a co-author of "U.S. First Ladies: Making History and Leaving Legacies" and a founding member of the First Ladies Association for Research and Education.

Held at the Wichita Art Museum, the Hall Center in Wichita series brings together scholars and community members from Lawrence, KS to Wichita to share research, accomplishments, and stories in the humanities.

All are welcome to attend the FREE reception and talk honoring some of the most influential women in our nation's history.

A thrilling rock opera based on the last week of Jesus’ life, Jesus Christ Superstar has wowed audiences for over 50 years. The musical is set against the backdrop of an extraordinary and universally known series of events but seen, unusually, through the eyes of Judas Iscariot.

Loosely based on the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, Superstar follows the last week of Jesus Christ’s life. The story, told entirely through song, explores the personal relationships and struggles between Jesus, Judas, Mary Magdalene, his disciples, his followers and the Roman Empire.
