About Hannah and the KMUW Artist Series:

Born and raised in the Midwest, Hannah Lee Scott currently lives and works as an artist and business owner in Wichita, Kansas. She graduated with her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art from Wichita State University in the Fall of 2014, and is now co-owner of Vortex Souvenir, an art and gift shop located in Wichita’s Delano district.

Hannah also works as a freelance illustrator for private and corporate projects, providing artwork and murals for clients such as Central Standard Brewing, Lululemon Athletica, Reverie Coffee Roasters and Little Lion Ice Cream. Any and all free time is usually spent rewatching Parks and Recreation episodes while petting her two dogs, Amelia and Ollie.

The KMUW Artist Series began in the spring of 2004 as a way to highlight and promote Wichita's immense creative community. KMUW invites local artists to donate artwork to be featured on the shirts and coffee mugs that serve as thank you gifts for KMUW members during pledge drives. In the 18 years since the Artist Series began, 32 artists have been featured.
