U.S. Senate: Doctor vs. Doctor

Democrat Barbara Bollier is a state senator (who left the Republican Party in 2018) from the ritzy Kansas City suburb of Mission Hills. She's also a retired anesthesiologist.

In south-central Kansas, Republican U.S. Rep. Ron Estes is seeking a second full term representing a district he won easily in 2018 with almost 60% of the vote.

His message to voters: "Keep Kansas red."

But his Democratic challenger, trade specialist Laura Lombard, says this year's election is much different — because the issues are much different. And she's hopeful she can turn the 4th Congressional District blue for the first time in more than two decades.

In Kansas, registered voters have a few options to cast their vote: at early polling locations starting 15 days before an election, or at your designated polling location on Election Day. And, for those wanting a more socially-distanced option, registered voters can complete an advance mail-in ballot.
