Oh, give me a home, now that Brownback is gone
Where the schools get the money they need
Where seldom is heard that their funds are deferred
So our kids get educated to succeed
The State Senate President, in her eye has a glint
She wants to give Kansas money away
Multinational companies would get millions with ease
Making schools and state services pay
Everyone knows by now, Medicaid expansion’s how
We can give thousands of Kansans health care
But Brownback’s ghost now walks up and down the Capitol’s halls
And expansion’s bad-mouthed everywhere
They’re holding a séance under our Capital’s dome
Making the spirit of Sam Brownback return
After 8 years of pain you’d think they’d feel some shame
But some people just never can learn
