Kevin Harrison teaches at Wichita State and is founder of The Breathe Project.

A jury in Minnesota this week found former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin guilty for the murder of George Floyd.

Floyd's death last year sparked worldwide demonstrations against police violence, and inspired Wichita State University professor Kevin Harrison to start The Breathe Project, aimed at denouncing racism and lifting up Black men. This week on The Range, we talk to Harrison about the group's work and his plans for the year ahead.

Plus, we meet the Wichita State grad who's helping guide Canada through the pandemic.
