We’ll hear music from My Getaway, the 2020 album from Dustin Arbuckle & The Damnations as well as selections from Pretend Friend & Friends, the 2020 live release from Wichita’s Pretend Friend.
Wednesday, March 10:
Featuring music originally recorded for the 1983 film, For All Mankind, Apollo: Atmospheres and Soundtracks is a collaboration between Brian Eno, Daniel Lanois and Eno’s brother, Roger. We’ll hear music from that release as well as from Brian Eno’s 1975 collaboration with King Crimson’s Robert Fripp, Evening Star.
Thursday, March 11:
Open Door Policy is the latest from The Hold Steady. We’ll hear selections from that release as well as some recent singles from Bonnie “Prince” Billy and Bill Callahan, including covers of songs from Silver Jews and Air Supply.
Friday, March 12:
Listen for music from I Told You So, the latest from the Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio, as well as selections from The Band’s newly-reissued Stage Fright.
Saturday, March 13:
In late 1990 Neil Young and Crazy Horse performed a show at a small venue in Santa Cruz, California as they geared up for a tour in support of their then-current album, Ragged Glory. That tour yielded two classic live recordings from Neil Young and Crazy Horse, Arc and Weld. The Santa Cruz date was left unreleased until now, when it emerged as the album Way Down In The Rust Bucket. We’ll hear music from that recording as well as selections from the upcoming reissue of Fleetwood Mac’s 1980 effort, Live!
