Gloria Gaynor Returns With First-Ever Gospel Album

Disco music icon Gloria Gaynor has released her first-ever gospel album. Gaynor is well known for the 1978 international mega hit "I Will Survive." Her new project Testimony includes a duet with gospel powerhouse Yolanda Adams, who discusses the joy she had in recording with the disco legend this Sunday on Soulsations.

Carla Eckels is Director of Organizational Culture at KMUW. She produces and hosts the R&B and gospel show Soulsations and brings stories of race and culture to The Range with the monthly segment In the Mix. Carla was inducted into The Kansas African American Museum's Trailblazers Hall of Fame in 2020 for her work in broadcast/journalism.
