Forest Standards Vol.2 is the latest from guitarist David Lord. We’ll hear music from that as well as selections from Good Days the 2020 LP from Chicago Underground Quartet.
We'll also remember musician Edward Van Halen, whose death was announced on October 6. Van Halen, along with his brother Alex, formed the California rock quartet that bore their surname in the 1970s in the adopted home of Los Angeles. The group became one of the most commercially successful rock bands of the era. We'll hear music from across Van Halen's career and some of his guest work on albums by Michael Jackson and Nicolette Larson among others.

Monday, October 12
Former Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason is back with a live recording with his band Saucerful of Secrets. The group was formed in 2018 and features latter-day Floyd bassist Guy Pratt as well as Gary Kemp of Spandau Ballet. The unit focuses on the early music of Pink Floyd and is heard on a new release titled Live At The Roundhouse. We’ll hear music from that effort as well as selections from Us + Them from former Pink Floyd bassist, vocalist and primary songwriter Roger Waters. We’ll also hear from Delicate Sound of Thunder, the 1988 live LP from the David Gilmour-led version of Pink Floyd.

We’ll hear music from the newly reissued 1989 LP from Lou Reed, New York as well as selections from Private Lives, the new double album from Low Cut Connie.
Wednesday, October 14
Listen for music from Bonnie Whitmore’s Last Will and Testament as well as selections from Chris Smither’s new LP, More From The Levee.
