Released in 1995, Alien Lanes was the eighth full-length album from Ohio’s Guided By Voices. The album is now available in a twenty-fifth anniversary edition. Former bassist Jim Greer once quipped that the cost of the album, not considering the group’s considerable beer drinking, was roughly ten dollars.
