Marshall Crenshaw's 'Miracle of Science'

Thursday, August 13

Released in 1989, 11 was the third full-length album from New Jersey’s The Smithereens. The record featured the radio staples “Blues Before and After” and “Girl Like You,” which was initially written for the film Say Anything. The album title is a nod to both the Rat Pack film Ocean’s 11 and the rock mockumentary This Is Spinal Tap. We’ll hear music from that as well as Marshall Crenshaw’s Miracle of Science.
