Released in 2014, East Nashville Skyline remains one of the most beloved recordings in singer-songwriter Todd Snider’s discography. We’ll hear music from that release, newly issued on vinyl, as well as songs from Bob Dylan’s Nashville Skyline.

Listen for music from Natural Affair, the latest from Los Angeles band The Growlers as well as selections from That Dog’s Old LP.

Monday, November 25

Released in 1979, The Glow was Bonnie Raitt’s seventh album and features material written by Jackson Browne, Robert Palmer and Isaac Hayes with David Porter. We’ll hear music from this release as well as songs from Shawn Colvin’s 2006 set, These Four Walls.

Tuesday, November 26

Love and Evol is the latest release from Japanese band Boris. We’ll hear music from that recording as well as selections from Scottish post-rock band Mogwai.

Wednesday, November 27:

Listen for music from Bonnie Raitt’s 1982 album, Green Light as well as Jackson Browne’s 1993 record, I’m Alive.

Thursday, November 28

It’s our annual Thanksgiving Day special with songs from The Kinks, John Hiatt and many more.

Friday, November 29

Evergreen is the 2019 release from St. Louis-based musician Beth Bombara. We’ll hear from that record as well as from songs from Al Holiday & The East Side Rhythm Band’s 4963.

Saturday, November 30

Philip B. Price is a founder of the New England-based band Winterpills but has recently released a new solo album, Bone Almanac, which recalls the work of acoustic guitar masters such as John Martyn and John Fahey. Listen for selections from that album as well as music from the Winterpills’ 2007 album, The Light Divides.

Jedd Beaudoin is host/producer of the nationally syndicated program Strange Currency. He created and hosts the podcast Into Music, which examines musical mentorship and creative approaches to the composition, recording and performance of songs. As a music journalist, his work has appeared in PopMatters, Vox, No Depression and Keyboard Magazine.
