Global Village ends the year the way it began and the way the show began 10 years ago in January of 2007. We kicked off the program – and our 10th anniversary celebrations - with a countdown of the Top 10 world music favorites of 2006. It was the first feature on Global Village and showcased a diverse and surprising collection of music from across Africa, Europe, Central and South America. It’s a tradition Global Village has continued every year since and will once again in January when the show looks back at the best world music of 2017.
