Lisa Ronson is the daughter of legendary guitarist Mick Ronson. In 2015 the younger Ronson released the album Emperors of Medieval Japan. We’ll hear selections from that recording as a well as selections from her father’s classic album Slaughter on 10th Avenue.

Friday, January 22 

Half Past Present Pending is the 2015 release from Kansas-born and Oregon-based musician Mike Coykendall. We’ll hear selections from that as well as music from Blitzen Trapper’s All Across This Land

Saturday, January 23

Trey Anastasio is a founding member of the Vermont band Phish but in recent years his solo albums have seen him delve into a variety of styles with superior results. We’ll hear from his most recent album Paper Wheels as well as Widespread Panic’s 2015 effort Street Dogs.

Monday, January 25

Listen for music from David Bowie’s latest recording Blackstar as well as music from the 2015 self-titled release by Reeves Gabrels and His Imaginary Friends.

2015 saw the passing of Yes co-founder Chris Squire. Squire was the only member of the band who remained with the group throughout all the band’s various lineups. We’ll remember him on this episode of the show with selections from a variety of projects he was involved with.
