Senior Wednesdays are informational and entertaining sessions, designed for active seniors and offered by a collaboration of local institutions. Learn more at Seniorwednesday.org

Wichita-Sedgwick County Historical Museum offers their Senior Wednesdays on the 4th Wednesday of each month, January-October.

MAY TOPIC: "Let's Talk Shop" Documentary Screening with WeHarmonSisters

Presented by Sara and Charity Harmon

Sisters and award-winning filmmakers, Sara and Charity Harmon, tell the history of Wichita's two biggest department stores: Innes and Henry's. Though these stores no longer exist, the former buildings are being repurposed for higher education.

About the Presenters

Sara and Charity Harmon, known as "WeHarmonSisters," are award-winning filmmakers based in Wichita. Their films include For Your Amusement, Who Scammed Rajah Rabbit?, and their latest, Let's Talk Shop. They began their media journey as teenagers, then chose it as a career and graduated with degrees in Communication. The sisters create fun, artsy, and humorous content that both educates and entertains their audience.
