RiverFlix - Free Outdoor Movie Nights
Join us in the Wichita Foundation Amphitheater for family fun under the stars, where we will be showcasing beloved film favorites. This is the perfect opportunity to enjoy quality time with loved ones in a magical setting. Bring your blankets, snacks and a sense of adventure as we create unforgettable memories together.

No registration necessary. We’ll see you there!

Seating
The amphitheater bowl (turf) is strictly for ground seating. We recommend bringing blankets or cushions for comfort.
The cement portion of the amphitheater space will have chairs provided. All guests will be welcome to utilize the chairs in this area, other than a small section marked off for RiverFlix sponsors. Chairs are first come, first served and must remain in their organized rows to maintain aisles and walkways.
There will be limited space around the amphitheater bowl for lawn chairs. We cannot guarantee that you will be able to use your lawn chair and encourage you to plan on sitting on blankets/cushions if possible.
We will have space available for accessible seating, including guests utilizing wheelchairs.
Wagons and Strollers
For safety and space reasons, wagons, strollers, scooters, and lawn chairs are not permitted in the amphitheater. Unattended stroller and wagon parking will be available. Please note that the museum is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Service Animals and Pets
Certified service animals are welcome at RiverFlix.
All other pets and animals are not allowed and are better left at home.
Concessions:
There will be food and beverage available for purchase from various food trucks.
Outside food and drinks are allowed – no glass containers or outside alcohol.
Exploration Place will have a selection of beer, hard seltzers and drinks available for purchase. Outside alcohol is not permitted.
Restrooms
Restrooms will be open and available inside the museum. Follow signs for a shortcut through Water Way Terrace.
Parking
Free parking in the Exploration Place lot will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Arrival Time
Gates open at 6:00 pm to allow time for seating and to enjoy the food trucks. The movie starts at approximately sunset.
Respectful Viewing
Please be mindful of others by keeping noise to a minimum and staying seated during the movie (unless you need to pop out for a restroom or snack break, of course).
Cleanliness
Help us keep the area clean by using designated trash bins for your waste.
Weather
In case of inclement weather, check our website or social media for updates. We will also use outdoor overhead announcements if necessary. In the event of inclement weather, the museum will still be open until 9 pm, even if RiverFlix gets canceled.
