Party for the People Pow Wow
On May 18, 2024, in honor of the 50th anniversary of the dedication of the Keeper of the Plains, The Mid-America All-Indian Museum's Bosin Society, along with the City of Wichita, Sedgwick County, Evergy and a few other sponsors will host a free family-friendly celebration centered around a powwow, Native performances, free museum admission, Native youth and adult art exhibits, food trucks, outdoor games and activities for kids and ending with fireworks.
