Positive Directions, Inc. presents the 25th Annual Wichita AIDS Walk with its first-ever Music Festival and Market on Saturday, July 20th at WAVE from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. This event will benefit Positive Directions, Inc., a local nonprofit that focuses on the prevention of HIV/AIDS. Proceeds from this year's event will help PDI purchase their very first Mobile Testing Van to help the organization reach more community members and increase the use of their FREE prevention, education, and testing services. This event is family-friendly and is open to the public.
The annual event opens at 10:00 am with a one-mile HIV/AIDS Awareness Walk in downtown Wichita at 11:00 Am. The Walk will be followed by PDI's first-ever Music Festival at 12:00 PM featuring local bands, with headliner Adam Capps Band starting at 9:00 pm. The Festival will include local merchants, non-profits, and games located outside at WAVE. PDI's trained staff and volunteers will be providing FREE HIV tests throughout the day.
Band line-up: 4 Guys With Jobs (12PM), The Whitnie Means Band (2PM), Uche and The Crash (3:30PM), RE:Bound (4:45PM), The Skeptics (5:30PM), Vandarth (6:30PM), Lady and The Tramps (7:30PM), Adam Capps Band (9PM).
The Walk is free, but participants who raise or donate $25 will get FREE entry into the all-day festival and a limited edition t-shirt. All-day Music Festival passes are $15 (children under 5 get in free).

About Positive Directions, Inc.: PDI is a local HIV/AIDS prevention non-profit that has been in existence for 28 years, offering a variety of services to the community throughout its history. For several years, PDI has led the state in the number of HIV tests it provides each year. PDI provides counseling and education to the community and distributes over 4,000 condoms monthly to businesses and organizations throughout the state of Kansas. PDI also tests for syphilis and Hepatitis-C, both of which are current epidemics in Sedgwick County. All services provided by PDI are completely FREE.
