Street Team Resolution 2015

Don’t give up on your New Year’s resolution – join KMUW’s Street Team, and walk or run with us for free!

The races KMUW sponsors in 2015 will be free for Street Team members. All you need to do is sign up for the KMUW Street Team Resolution program. We'll help you get registered through the station for the races you choose to participate in.

If you don't have one yet, you'll need to purchase the KMUW tech shirt to become a team member. Wear it in each race you participate in to help promote Wichita Public Radio! 

There are lots of ways to volunteer for KMUW, but this is the best way to promote the station – while getting some exercise throughout the year. Meet other public radio lovers and KMUW staff, and have a great time. Here are some details:

  • Earn a special KMUW medal. Finish six events to earn a bronze placement, nine for silver, and twelve to get gold.
  • There will be a special t-shirt, prizes, and other goodies distributed throughout the year as motivators, incentives, and rewards.
  • Join other KMUW Street Team members for post-race hangouts after select events.
  • Help promote KMUW to your social network by tweeting, blogging, etc., about your experience as the year develops. 
  • Our Street Team Resolution Program roster is currently full. If you are still interested in getting involved with KMUW, visit our volunteer page to sign-up. On your application, mark that you are interested in athletic races and we will notify you if any spots become available.
