Remembering Bishop Rance Allen

Soulsations remembers legendary gospel artist Bishop Rance Allen. The singer, described as a “titan in contemporary gospel music,” died October 31 at the age of 71. We’ll feature uplifting music from The Rance Allen Group and a memorable vintage tune by Allen while at Stax Records. Plus, this week’s DoubleTake features the sounds of hitmakers from Motown — Gladys Knight and The Pips as well as Marvin Gaye with “I Heard It Through the Grapevine.”
