Hear new music from Kem, this Sunday on Soulsations. “Lie to Me” is the first release in six years from the soulful Motown artist. Kem co-wrote the new single with Anthony Hamilton, Salaam Remi and James Poyser.
In a Billboard article, the recent newlywed shares that he sat on the song for three years before putting his pen to it. "’Lie to Me’ is about not holding back from the ones we love." The three-time Grammy-nominee adds, "It's about being transparent, not trying to put a selfie filter on the truth about ourselves."
