Soulsations Sunday: Tasha Page-Lockhart, Winner Of BET's Sunday Best

Hear music from Tasha Page-Lockhart; the Detroit-based singer is the winner of BET's gospel music competition "Sunday Best." Page-Lockhart achieved victory over the 15,000 people who auditioned. Overcoming homelessness and drug use several years ago, the talented vocalist takes nothing for granted. Page-Lockhart is signed to gospel icon Kirk Franklin's label, Fo Yo Soul. She's currently touring the country promoting her new album Here Right Now.

Carla Eckels is Director of Organizational Culture at KMUW. She produces and hosts the R&B and gospel show Soulsations and brings stories of race and culture to The Range with the monthly segment In the Mix. Carla was inducted into The Kansas African American Museum's Trailblazers Hall of Fame in 2020 for her work in broadcast/journalism.
