MakeICT is Wichita's oldest community driven Maker Space. Maker Monday is our open house event, and a great way to experience the makerspace and the maker culture in person. Come tour our shops and see our brand new facility at 5920 E. Mt. Vernon. You’ll learn all about our makerspace, tools, policies, people, and how we operate.

Our tours are free and open to the public. While you are welcome to just show up, we prefer that you register in advance so we have enough members on hand to assist with our tours. Sessions are at 7 pm and 7:30 pm.

If you wish to begin your membership at Maker Monday we will have members here to sign you up. There’s always something interesting going on at Maker Monday!

Art is not only for Art Museums. If a picture is worth a thousand words, it stands to reason that art can tell us a lot about the times and place where it was produced. Local history museums exist to explore time and place.

Celebrate Soulsations at KMUW's next Pint Night!

Once a month, KMUW invites the public to a local brewery or bar to have a beer or beverage with KMUW staff and other public radio listeners. Pint Nights are held from 5:30 to 7:00 pm.

There’s no agenda. Just an opportunity for a beverage and fine conversation. The evening is buy-your-own.

Join us for a fun-filled night of board games at Evergreen Library! All ages welcome.

Step away from the desk and into the park. A midweek rest has returned to the city’s core for Downtown Wichita’s Yoga in the Park. The rejuvenating, all-levels yoga session is designed to help you de-stress, stretch and reconnect with your community! Whether you're a seasoned yogi or unrolling a mat for the first time, there’s a spot for you downtown.

When: Wednesdays, noon to 1 p.m., April 8 – May 27.
Class begins promptly at 12:15 p.m.
