A multiplatinum hip-hop artist hailing from Brooklyn, New York, Bobby Shmurda first took the music world by storm in 2014 with his breakout single, “Hot Boy.” The song peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned five-time platinum certification, all while sparking the viral Shmoney Dance that became a cultural phenomenon. The track inspired remixes by hip-hop heavyweights such as French Montana, Chris Brown, Jadakiss, and Yo Gotti. He followed up his massive debut with “Bobby Bitch,” marking his second Billboard Hot 100 entry. Soon after, Bobby released his debut EP, Shmurda She Wrote, and made his nationally televised debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Bobby has recently expanded his global reach with a collaboration alongside Latin giants J. Balvin, Daddy Yankee, and Eladio Carrion on “TATA.” Now fully independent, Bobby dropped two mixtapes in 2022: BodBoy (distributed through 1R.P.M.) and ShmurdaGotCash, a collaboration with artist Lougotcash. These projects highlight Bobby’s versatility and energy while showcasing some of his best work to date. In 2023, Bobby launched the year with the release of his latest single, “Rats.”

"La Cenerentola," or “The Triumph of Goodness” tells the classic tale of Cinderella seen through the sunny Italian lens of the great comedic genius, Giachino Rossini.
"La Cenerentola" is a enchanting operatic twist on the beloved Cinderella tale, filled with humor, romance, and beautiful music. In this version, Prince Ramiro disguises himself as a servant to find a bride based on character rather than appearance, while his valet, Dandini, poses as the Prince. The kind-hearted Cenerentola (Cinderella) captures the true Prince's heart, not with a glass slipper, but with a pair of matching bracelets. In this version, the two stepsisters are as ugly and conniving as ever, but instead of a stepmother, the sisters are overseen by a buffoonish and nasty stepfather. Furthermore, the role of the fairy god mother is filled with a kindly and gentle “Godfather.”
This opera showcases Rossini's hilarious comedic timing and brilliant melodies, as the characters navigate mistaken identities, family tensions, and the search for true love. With its themes of forgiveness triumphing over cruelty and inner beauty outshining superficial charm, "La Cenerentola" offers a delightful evening of entertainment that will appeal to seasoned opera lovers and newcomers alike. Don't miss this magical production that proves dreams really do come true!
