WAM and Tallgrass Film Festival join forces together for the 10th annual outdoor movie night, and, for the second year in a row, we invited our friends from Music Theatre Wichita, this time for the 1939 family classic "The Wizard of Oz."

Judy Garland stars as Dorothy Gale from Kansas who, along with her little dog, Toto, are whisked away by a tornado and land in the wonderful world of Oz.

Come dressed to impress the wizard—we’ll have costume contests for adults, kids, and dogs! Bring your lawn chairs, picnic blanket, or broom and claim a spot on the Paula and Barry Downing Amphitheater lawn. Avoid melting like the Wicked Witch with cool drinks from the Muse Cafe’s outdoor cash bar.

6:30 pm | Doors open, food trucks, cash bar
7 pm | Live music by Sass Monkey
8:30 pm | Costume contest for adults, kids, and dogs. Win swag from WAM, MTW and Tallgrass!
9 pm | Screening of "The Wizard of Oz"
