This is our 7th Live Well with Diabetes event in partnership with KU School of Pharmacy, WSU Physician Associates department, Kansas Business Group on Health and Dillons. Free lab including A1c, lipids, glucose, foot checks, BP checks, Med management review, flu vaccine (insurance filed) as well as Expert education session by pharmacists, diabetes educators, dietitian, physical activity specialists and diabetes providers. Free lunch for the 1st 100 registered. Vendors with the latest diabetes information, supplies, updated technology. Kids corner available for children 4 to 12 years. Diabetes Heros celebrated at noon. Drawing at noon for prizes. Day ends with Ask the Experts with nationally knowns experts Debbie Hinnen, APRN and Lindy Childs, APRN. Tickets are not required unless you want "free lunch."
